Zimmer Hip Class Action Growing
Recently the FDA has received a large amount of reports stating that surgeons performing revision surgeries on individuals with the Zimmer Hip.. Initial results indicate that while in surgery, the surgeons have noticed a migration or loosening of the acetabular component of the Zimmer Durom Cup.

The Zimmer Durom hip failure may result in Zimmer hip replacement patients having to have a hip revision surgery. Zimmer Hip Pain after hip replacement surgery may indicate a faulty hip implant, broken hip implant, or defective hip implant. Individuals who have received a Zimmer Durom Cup Hip Implant are have some concerns are encouraged to contact either their orthopedic surgeon or the hospital that was responsible for performing the surgery. It is necessary to make this contact in order to determine the nature of your hip replacement surgery, specifically if a Zimmer Durom Cup hip replacement was used and to determine if there may be a failure.

Recently a report by a world-renowned orthopedic surgeon has been released, individuals that have undergone a Zimmer Durom Cup Hip Implant have had to undergo a second surgery, to revise the original hip replacement surgery due to the hip implant device not seating properly and sometimes even migrating.

Lawyers have been investigating the durom implant and will be seeking Zimmer hip class action settlements for patients implanted with the defective Zimmer Durom Cup Hip Implants.

The Zimmer Durom Cup Hip Replacement has been reported by surgeons to come loose and the Zimmer Durom Cup was taken off the market as of July 24, 2008. The Zimmer hip recall was inspired after defects of the Zimmer Durom Cup Hip Replacement were brought to light to the medical profession on April 22, 2008, by Dr. Larry Dorr. Lots of Dr. Dorr's patients who were implanted with the Zimmer Hip required hip revision surgery because of the Zimmer Durom Cup failing to bond properly.

Dr. Dorr wrote the following letter to his comrades at the Yank organisation of Hip and Knee Surgeons alert of the failures and defects related to Zimmer's Durom hip cup after notifying Zimmer of the problems with the Zimmer Hip.
